In recognition of its experience and expertise in Business and Community Engagement (BCE), Universities for the North East has been involved in two JISC funded projects in this area.
Collaborative Tools 4 BCE focused on the trial of various on-line collaborative tools to support BCE. As one of nine partners in this project, staff from Universities for the North East looked specifically at how UNIS (a web-based collaborative project tool) could be adapted for use by a broader range of organisations, including Knowledge Transfer networks.
The second project investigated the potential of collaborative Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) for Higher Education and Further Education in North East England.
