How we do it

Universities for the North East operates on a day-to-day basis through the secretariat, the members of which are located at RTC North Ltd (http://www.rtcnorth.co.uk/) See our contacts page for address and other contact information.

The Board of Universities for the North East meets quarterly and comprises of the Vice Chancellor of each university and also the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Executive Committee.  The Executive Committee also meets on at least a quarterly basis.  The membership of the Executive Committee consists of a Pro or Deputy Vice Chancellor from each university, the Regional Director of the Open University in the North and the Managing Director of RTC North Ltd.

A series of standing committees meet to discuss thematic issues and project committees meet to manage projects.
